CARIBBEAN FESTIVAL AT PIKE CENTRAL FARM MARKET

We be jammin’, mon! Central Farm Markets presents its first ever Caribbean Festival on Saturday, October 5th, 2013 at Pike Central Farm Market from 9 am - 2 pm.

Join us for a day of Caribbean fun for the entire family! Central Farm Markets and Doctor Dread’s Jerk will present a day filled with Caribbean food, including Doctor Dread’s famous jerk chicken wings and jerk salmon & wild rice burgers, delicious drinks, and locally produced food products, fruits and vegetables from Pike Central’s usual vendors.  Free non-alcoholic Island drinks will be available for all at Pike Central’s Cook’s Corner!

The Caribbean Festival will feature live reggae music by Zedicus, Caribbean crafts and a limbo contest for the kids…and maybe the adults too! There will also be lots of giveaways, including a pair of Stephen Marley concert tickets, t-shirts, CDs and more!

The event is free, though there is a cost for the food. There is plenty of free parking all day close to the event!

Pike Central Farm Market is located at 11806 Rockville Pike between Old Georgetown and Montrose Roads in Rockville, MD. The market is open every Saturday from 9am – 2pm, April through December.
