Hello Everyone! I'm Cheryl, Your Newest Bowie Patch Blogger!

Hello Everyone! I'm Cheryl, your newest Bowie Patch Blogger!!

Hi and welcome to my nonprofit blog!  I am a Training and Development Policy Writer for the Federal Government.  I am also a social worker (MSW) with a Master's degree in Business Process Reengineering.  My passions lie in training and program evaluation, writing, volunteering and public speaking.  I am a mother, Army veteran, Dean Koontz fanatic and chocolate lover.

I'm also a new Bowie business owner of Naomi's Consulting.  I specialize in helping newer Bowie nonprofits meet their fundraising goals.  I also offer consultation on program evaluation and training. My hobbies include singing, reading, volunteering and planning parties.

If you're a nonprofit, for-profit, volunteer, penny-pincher, serial philanthropist or simply someone who gets choked up by that commercial with the sad little teary-eyed malnourished kittens and puppies with Sarah McLachlan crooning a heart-wrenching ballad in the background.  You know the one I'm talking about, right?  Well, this blog is for you. If you're interested in training, employee development or leadership development, this blog will be useful to you too.

I welcome your questions, comments, suggestions and ideas.  Let's get this show on the road!!
