Knock on Wood Tap Studio is coming back to where it all started.
The studio opened its doors in Takoma Park 15 years ago before moving to Silver Spring. In Spring 2011, that Silver Spring location closed.
But in the words of Knock of Wood board member Debbie Grossman, "Our studio has sprung back."
And it's coming back to Takoma Park. The new location is on Willow Street across from the CVS. Hundreds of new students have signed up, according to Grossman.
The studio will be putting on a showcase June 10, featuring current students along with a number of special guests. It will be at 2 p.m. at Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School. Tickets are $10 each and kids five and under get in free.
