Takoma 3 Stars Brewing Open to Public

Growlers will be available to fill with three different brews.

If you like craft beer and have a Saturday free, 3 Stars Brewing, just across the border in Takoma is opening its doors to the public.

Beginning August 25 at 1 p.m., 3 Stars will start offering tours of its facility. The tasting room, which shares space with the DC Homebrew Shop, will also be open for tastings and growler fills to paying customers. Once launched, growler hours and tours of the facility will be available on weekends.

All three 3 Stars brews will be available for purchase in the tasting room: the Urban Farmhouse (Belgian Style Saison – 6.5% ABV) is priced at $15 per growler fill, plus the cost of the jug; while the heavier brews, the Southern Belle (Imperial Brown Ale with Toasted Pecans– 8.7% ABV) and Pandemic Porter (American Imperial Porter – 9.6% ABV), are $20 per growler fill, plus the cost of the container.
