Summer Season Begins at Takoma Park Farmers Market
The market will welcome back its summer vendors.
It's been warmer for some time now, but the Takoma Park Farmers Market will officially start its summer season Apr. 15.
The market will co-host a Chalk4Peace.org event with Art Works Studio School where kids can help create a sidewalk mural for a peace awareness campaign.
Entertainment will include Banjo Man, the Jazzy Jugglerand a celebration launching the 2012 Takoma Park Spring for Poetry Project.

The market is open year-round every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
