Soupergirl, Takoma's own local, vegan soup store, was named one of EcoCentric's favorite sustainable restaurants of 2011.
The criteria for selection was "a firm commitment to using locally sourced, sustainably produced food," according to the website.
The list includes restaurants all across the country.
