Map: Restaurant Violations in Takoma Park

Information about a food safety inspections was supplied by Data Montgomery and the Montgomery County Health Department.

Two restaurants in Takoma Park were cited for minor food safety violations in July, according to data accessed through Data Montgomery and provided by the Montgomery County Department of Health.

Come to Africa restaurant, at 6834 New Hampshire Ave., was cited on July 26 for not protecting food from contamination.

Roscoe’s Neopolitan Pizza, at 7040 Carroll Ave., was cited on July 29 for not protecting food from contamination and lack of proper hand-washing technique.

Both restaurants immediately corrected the violations.

Four other food establishments in Takoma Park were inspected in July, but no violations were found. Three restaurants in Montgomery County—in Bethesda, Gaithersburg and Silver Spring—were found to have severe enough violations to close during July.
