Frugal Family: Five Deals to Stretch the Family Budget
We've scoured the neighborhood for deals, so you don't have to.
Welcome back to our weekly rundown of five local deals to help with your family’s bottom line. Since we do the scouting, we save you time as well as money.
This week we scoured our local sources and found saving on dining out--with entertainment--at a mystery dinner theatre; DVDs for on kids and paperback books (for all ages); smoothie deals, and a new fragrance special. Remember to check with the merchant for additional conditions, if any:

Deal: Save on your choice of any dance class at the studio using their online-only discounts: a four-class card is $50 ($12.50 per class), a 10-class card is $120 ($12 per class) and a 15-class card is $150 ($10 per class).

Good through: Friday nights, April 8 and 15.

Deal: Get a free 20-ounce smoothie when you buy a Smoothie King Gladiator Meal Replacement, with coupon. Also sign up for their online newsletter and receive a free small smoothie when you purchase one (small size or larger).

Deal: Save 50 percent on selected kid's DVDs, plus all paperbacks are buy one, get the second one 50 percent off.
Good through: Hurry - Kid's DVD sale good through April 4; paperback sale in progress.
5. New Spring Fragrance, for $1.00: Bath & Body Works, 3500 East-West Highway, Hyattsville,301-559-5059 (Prince George's Plaza).
Deal: Get a two-ounce lotion size of their newest fragrance for $1.00, or a three-ounce fragrance mist for $2.00, during the fragrance preview. (Regularly $3.50 and $5.00, respectively).
Good through: May 5 (or while supplies last).
