If you're tired of paying full price for paperbacks at big chain stores then the Takoma Park Library is the place to be Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Every book purchased is counted as a donation to support library events that are all free to the public. The sales from the spring and fall book drives have generated around $3,500 a year, according to the Friends of the Takoma Park Maryland Library website.
The library is located at 1o1 Philadelphia Ave.
