Folk Lovers Raise Money for Takoma Park Folk Festival

The festival will be Sept. 11.

Local folk supporters came out Tuesday night to hear some music and raise money for the Takoma Park Folk Festival.

Beth Rinaldo, Scott Holland and Mark Sylvester, a folk/blues themed three-piece band treated diners to what they could expect at the September festival.

Families and couples intermingled in the main rooms of El Golfo, bolstering business on this warm night.

“We love the folk festival here in Takoma Park and are happy to know that we could come and try a new restaurant while showing our support,” he said.
