Patch Picks: Super Bowl Watch Parties

Every Thursday we'll make a list, so check it out.

Takoma Park isn't known for its sports bars, but we know some of you out there want to know where to watch the Super Bowl. So here are places in the area

1.   on Ellsworth Drive will show the game on their 4-ft projection screen on the ground floor, while four flat screens are available on the upper level. Happy hour deals will be available, and they suggest arriving one to two hours prior to kickoff for a good seat.

2.   in Silver Spring will show the big game on all 15 of their 41” and larger TV’s from 41” scattered among the bar’s two floors. There is no cover charge or minimum and plenty of food and drink specials to keep Steelers and Packers fan happy.

3. Pour House is one of the bigger Steeler bars in D.C. so they'll be sure to show the game at this Capitol Hill staple.

4. It probably isn't a bar or restaurant, but your house is always a great option as well. Hit up the Coop and make some food for you and your friends to eat while enjoying the game.
