World Class Violinist Amy Beth Horman in Concert
Join us on Sunday afternoon, October 16th at 4:00, as Warner Memorial Presbyterian Church presents violinist Amy Horman and pianist Brad Clark performing works by Beethoven, Debussy, and Chopin.
Ms. Horman, a native of Montgomery county, has established herself as an acclaimed soloist through numerous national and international appearances. Her appearances are always eagerly anticipated and The Wasington Post has described her as being both a "winter tonic" and "having the stuff of greatness." She debuted with the National Symphony Orchestra at the age of sixteen and won the Premier Prix in Solo Violin while at the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique in Paris.
Pianist Brad Clark has performed on recitals with singers and instrumentalists throughout the United States and Europe performing in a variety of venues and styles of music from Yiddish vocal music to traditional opera. Mr. Clark has performed with the National Symphony Chamber Players, the Amalfi Coast Music Festival and the Heifetz Institute as a vocal and instrumental accompanist. He has accompanied master classes for such distinguished artists as Pinchas Zucherman, Richard Stolzman, Carter Brey, and Lynn Harrel.
Meet the performers and enjoy some refreshments at a light post recital reception. A free will offering will be taken to help defray the costs of the recital.
