Kensington Row Story Salon: A Family Telling Stories

Just when you moan that you can't get your children to sit around the table and tell you about their day, and vice versa, you hear about a family that probably not only eats together, but tells stories together.

This event is a must if you want to inspire your loved ones to listen to you.  But remember, it goes both ways.

The leader of the Twinbrook Tellers, Eve Burton will be telling tales with her sons.  Eve, who works for the Montgomery County Public Libraries, began the storytelling group for children.

Jules, a college bound mathematician and musician, intricately weaves his interests along with odd, unusual or downright bizarre twists and factoids into his tales.

His brother, Jonathan, is the more experienced of the two and enjoys teasing his audiences with Native American trickster tales featuring Coyote and Raven.  He is also an accomplished poet.

The Kensington Row Story Salon is a production of Ellouise Schoettler.  Kensington Row Book Shop generously donates the space for  events which occur on the first Wednesday of every month.
