Cooking with Gas - Blues & Jazz - at J. Marie's Cajun

I'm really excited about a new group I'm in "Cooking With Gas". We played at the Open Mic at Everyday Gormet in Takoma Park last week and Rob Hinkal of IliAmy who hosts stated we were "responsible for blowing my mind".

We are having our first major gig this Friday evening from 8-11 at J. Marie’s Restaurant in Hyattsville, just across East-West Hwy from PG Plaza. We are a quartet that includes harmonica, guitar, washtub bass and fiddle. We mostly play good timey blues flavored with jazzy swing. If you can, come on out and see us. It would be great to see a few friendly faces in the audience.
