Kensington, MD - FACE- FAMILY Awesome CONCERT EXPERIENCE, Children's Music GRAMMY Award Winners, Cathy Fink & Marcy Marxer present their 26th annual Family Concert on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 1pm & 3pm at the Takoma Park Community Center (7500 Maple Avenue, Takoma Park, MD). Single tickets are $10 or $12 at the door, a discount is available for season tickets to the FACE series of concerts January-March 2012.
The world travelin', local 2X GRAMMY winners always come home for this annual music party! Special guests this year include the father/daughter team of Anna Grace (6 years old!) & Joe Uehlein.

Cathy & Marcy are trailblazers in children's and family music as well as roots music. They play dozens of instruments from banjos to mandolins to rockin' electric guitar, steel drum and ukulele. Cathy & Marcy’s new CD/Book, "Sing To Your Baby", has reinvented family music.
The duo loves what they do and have been rewarded for their excellence with 2 GRAMMY® Awards, 14 consecutive GRAMMY® nominations and literally hundreds of awards from The Parents' Choice Foundation, American Library Association, John Lennon Songwriting Contest, and on, and on..... , the Washington Area Music Association has recognized Cathy & Marcy with over 50 WAMMY Awards for folk, bluegrass and children’s music.
