Beer as Folk, a Takoma Park Folk Festival Fundraiser

 First Annual Pub Crawl to benefit the Takoma Park Folk Festival! Just $25 buys you a full evening of music and fun and 3 drinks -
beer, wine or soda - and a commemorative mug to take home at the end of the evening!   This Inaugural Pub Crawl is limited to the first 100 who sign up, and 35 spots have already been sold!

Or, Buy your mug  5-7 pm that evening, June 11 at the Clock Tower in the middle of Old Town Takoma! Join us for this first pub crawl-creating a bit of Takoma history while raising funds for the Folk Festival's financial health!

3 great pubs; 3 great performances!
From 7:30-8:30 pm at Everyday Gourmet:  Bob Clayton plays banjo,
guitar, fiddle, harmonica and mandolin, and a varied program of songs from the Civil War to folk standards and some originals thrown in!
From 8:30-9:30 pm at Roscoe's Cafe, Members of the Washington Revels Maritime Voices will perform and lead sea chanteys and other songs of sea and shore! Accompanied by TPFF's fiddling mermaid, Catherine Chapman.

From 9:30-10:30 pm, the duo David Potts-Dupre and Dan Robinson make beautiful original acoustic music in the Olive Lounge, (Middle Eastern Cafe re-opens expressly for the Pub Crawl.)
