Community Center to Host Free Screening of "We Are Egypt" on February 9

Docs in Progress organizes documentary screening and Q & A with filmmaker.

As a part of the city’s on-going “” series, Silver Spring-based Docs in Progress will host a free screening of “We Are Egypt,” filmmaker Lillie Paquette’s account of democracy activists’ years of efforts to remove Egypt’s long-standing authoritarian government.

This free event begins at 8:00 p.m. on February 9 at the with a screening of the 85-minute film, followed by a Q & A session with Paquette.

No reservations are required, and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
