Community Center Gallery to Feature Multimedia Exhibit

The exhibit runs runs from Feb. 28 through Mar. 26.

The galleries at the Takoma Park Community Center have changed.  The space now features an Adam Griffiths curated multimedia exhibit called "CYCLES."

The opening reception will be held in the Atrium Gallery on Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. 

The exhibit, which runs from Feb. 28 through Mar. 26, includes the
work of Marcie Wolf-Hubbard, Helina Metaferia, Rosalind Alumnah and
students from the 2010 Mixed Media Artist Residency. 

There will also be several other arts related events at the community center in March:

  • Tuesday, Mar. 8, 7 p.m., “Breaking Through the Clouds: The First Women’s National Air Derby” - Film Screening and Discussion with filmmaker Heather Taylor

 

  • Thursday, Mar. 10, 7:30 p.m., “American Feud: A History of Conservatives and Liberals”- Film Screening and Discussion with filmmakers Richard Hall and Simone Fary
