We are Takoma and the Karabakh Foundation will have a free screening of “The Fortress,” a film by Azerbaijani director Shamil Najafzade.
The film is a story of a film crew that arrives in a remote border village in the mountains of Azerbaijan to shoot a historical account of war, heroism, and love when a real war erupts. The movie is in the Azerbaijani language with English subtitles.
The film will be followed by a Q&A with the director.
