Why to go:  Carnival Science returns to the Maryland Science Center with three-rings of family fun worthy of the big top.

The star attraction will be Rhys Thomas, former Smithsonian Artist-in-Residence. Rhys will demonstrate the physics of fun at his fabulous Science Circus, where he will introduce Newton’s laws using a blend of science, daredevil stunts and comedy. 

Stunts include juggling bowling balls, ping pong balls, and swords, demonstrations by a former yo-yo world champion, and demonstration of a 3D puzzle that has stumped people for decades.

Why to go:  Guests will enjoy Y-STEM Robotics, Ballet, Fit-n-Fun, Y Journeys Camp - Science Round Up and more!

Where/When:    Maryland State Fairgrounds, Exhibition Hall

Why to go:  Watch professional drivers go head to head for the Championship.

Why to go:  Come purchase local chemical free produce at The Samaritan Women Produce Stand on Saturday mornings.  TSW also welcomes volunteers throughout the summer to help on the farm.

Why to go:  Dance under the stars to live music; wine tasting, picnicking, chilled bottles, dance lessons begin at 6:00 p.m., live music begins at 6:30 p.m.

Don't forget the free Pet Trust Seminar at Baltimore Humane Society. Saturday, June 9, 10:00 a.m. in the Administration Building on the grounds at 1601 Nicodemus Road, Reisterstown. Attorney Michael Hodes will be discussing how to plan for your pet's future in case of illness or death.

And The Catonsville Relay for Life at CCBC beginning at 6pm with a survivor lap. The event lasts until 6am but get there before 9pm for food and purchases.
