Obama Leads By 21%, Cardin Leads By 24% in Maryland

We have a new poll for the state of Maryland from YouGov which shows, not surprisingly, Barack Obama and Ben Cardin ahead in their respective races.

PRESIDENT - MARYLAND (YouGov)
Barack Obama (D-inc) 58%
Mitt Romney (R) 37%

US SENATE - MARYLAND (YouGov)
Ben Cardin (D-inc) 54%
Dan Bongino (R) 30%

I am a little surprised after we had a poll form Gonzales Research last month showing the Independent Rob Sobhani hitting 20% in their poll that YouGov decided not to include him at all in this latest poll.  So far, we have not yet had a poll that would confirm that September poll from Gonzales Research.

The poll was done October 4-11 among 498 likely voters with a margin of error of +/- 5.2%.

You can find a pdf of the poll at the YouGov.com website here.

That settles it. Obama is the lesser of two evils, but in Maryland, I can express my displeasure with both choices. Which way to go? Libertarian or Green? Closer to Libertarian in philosophy, but the Green Party candidate did get arrested for trying to inject new ideas into the last debate.

No offense to YouGov, but with Sobhani dumping $6mil of his own money into ad buys, I'm not sure you can even take this poll as credible, by any stretch of the imagination. Plus, did you hear, Dan Bongino outraised Cardin in Q3...in fact, he outraised ALL candidates in the state of Maryland, D or R? Just saying.
