Whether you find yourself one pack of paper napkins too short or in need of an emergency dose of allergy medicine because of a relative's cat, you might need to visit a business or two on Thanksgiving Day.

Whole Foods, downtown Silver Spring—8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
ShopRite, Cherry Hill Road—8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Giant grocery stores, locations include East-West Highway, Arliss Street, White Oak, Colesville and Burtonsville—6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Pharmacy is closed.
Safeway grocery stores, locations include Thayer Avenue, University Boulevard West, Hillandale, Cloverly, Briggs Chaney—6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Pharmacies are open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Restaurants:
Asian Bistro—12 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Baja Fresh—10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Eggspectation—7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Pho Hiep Hoa—10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Starbucks—6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Convenience stores:
CVS, 825 Wayne Ave.—8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Pharmacy 8 a.m to 2 p.m.
CVS, Four Corners, 10141 Colesville Road—7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Pharmacy 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Walgreens, White Oak—8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Pharmacy is closed.
Transit:
Ride On, Metrobus and Metrorail will operate on Sunday schedules.
