Why the hell does a grocery store need to be open on Thanksgiving?

I agree. Seriously? This is so unnecessary and only a way to make more money. I have not shopped in any store on Thanksgiving ever and don't plan on changing it now. It's sad that the employees essentially have no choice in the matter and are being practically forced to work on a holiday where they should be home with family and friends.
And I don't shop on Black Friday either and especially now when they keep moving it up to Thanksgiving evening! It's just wrong and I talk with my wallet.
