Three Stars Brewery Coming to Takoma
The brewery expects to open in 2012.
If you love craft beer and want to support the fledgling D.C. brewing scene, you'll get your chance soon.
Three Stars Brewing is set to open up a brewery in Takoma and start making beer there in the first few months of 2012, according to a story by the Washington City Paper.
The company consists of Dave Coleman and Mike McGarvey, two friends who are looking to make D.C. a destination for beer lovers, according to the company's website.

I'd rather see a vegetarian restaurant, a bakery a pho place or a good coffee house rather than a beer joint coming to our city.

So after looking at website ( too bad the article here didn't have more info) it appears to be a brewery only in dc. So no sit down eating/ drinking options. And it's unclear where you can regularly purchase their offerings. Maybe city paper article has this info.

Interestingly, if you go to Google Maps, there's a little icon and something that says "Three Stars Restaurant." So I guess we'll see...
