The Takoma Park Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a teen girl who was reported missing Sunday.

Police officials are investigating the disappearance of 14-year-old Simayah Ainsworth.

Ainsworth was last seen on Nov. 11 from the 700 block of Hudson Avenue in Takoma Park, according to police officials.

She was last seen wearing a white/black tank top, blue denim jeans and black Nike shoes.

Ainsworth is described as a black female, standing 5-feet 5-inches tall, weighing 140 lbs. with brown eyes, long straight black hair. She has a medium complexion.
