Takoma Park Stabbing Victim Released from Hospital

Police are still looking for a suspect.

 

A man who was stabbed June 19 in an attempted armed robbery was released from the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery, according to Takoma Park Police Crime Analyst Andrew Gucciardo.

Police said, on June 19 the suspect got off a bus heading south on New Hampshire Avenue toward Eastern Avenue.. He approached a man waiting at the bus stop and allegedly asked the man for property. According to police a struggle ensued and the suspect stabbed the man multiple times with a knife.

The suspect is still at-large, Gucciardo said.
