Takoma Park Council to Discuss Hospital Move

State Health Care commission will vote on Washington Adventist request Oct. 18.

The controversial Washington Adventist Hospital request to move from Takoma Park to White Oak will be top priority at tonight's Takoma Park City Council meeting.

Maryland Health Care Commissioner Barbara McLean wants the hospital's application for relocation denied, according to a 174-page recommendation she sent to other commissioners.

The Washington Adventist Hospital move from Takoma Park to Silver Spring is not financially feasible or viable in the future, according to McLean.
