- Local every day in
The brawl between the beltways takes place Sunday in Landover.
We can only hope it takes place on the field and not in the stands or at your local bar.
But speaking of which, check out the scripted banter between the two fans in the YouTube video we've included.
Where do your allegiances lie?
Are you an RGIII fanatic, too? Or do you view the Redskins "as the other team from Maryland," like the Ravens fan said?
TELL US: Who are you pulling for on Sunday and why? Give us a score prediction and a key for the game in the comments.

As far as I know the Ravens have never beaten an athletic quarterback. They couldn't beat Vick, and he's at the end of his career. RGIII seems to fit this pattern. What I see in the Ravens is a team who is tired and has too many injuries. The defensive backfield is doing an excellent job, but games are won and lost by the big guys up front, and the Ravens don't get the job done on the Run or Defense.
Superbowl winning Ravens were a four man D line which dominated. When they were exposed on the edges, the team switched to a 3-4 alignment, and that seemed to work for a while. But the better teams seem to be STILL in the 4-3 alignment.
I'd like to see a linebacker like Ted Hendricks who at 6' 7" tall was exceptional in pass coverage. The Ravens have NOT adjusted to all the NFL rules changes that benefit the Offense. This is the effect of Television and the desire of TV to see lots of points to impress the less perceptive fans. I don't like it.
I also don't like comparing the records of the greatest football player in history, Johnny Unitas, which were compiled in an era when the defense was dominant and the seasons were 12 games to today offense biased 16 games.
I expect the Ravens to lose this week and possibly much more.

RGIII is ridiculous. He's like early Michael Vick, except he passes twice as well. Not flawless, but....damn.
Flacco's going to have to not be Succo in order for the Ravens to win. They'll have to put at least 24 up.

If Suggs plays Rg can be forced into throwing interceptions. If Flacco gets into a "hurry up " mode he has a tendacy to make 'wild" throws making it a very long day
for the Ravens. He seems to always look for the "deep" throws rather than the short ones that get you first downs. Great if it worked but I wonder which Flacco will show up ? In several incidences he held the ball too long letting the defense strip the ball out of his hand. RG would have ran a few yards to keep the drive alive.Keeping the ball out of Rg's hands is the only thing that will win us the game. Flacco consistantly going three and out will feed into Rg's chance to have our defense running all over the field to keep him in check.

If the Ravens don't get Ray Rice going and/or don't exploit the skins' weak secondary, then the Redskins could easily run away with this one.

If the Redskins can put pressure on Flacco and cover Purple Pidgeon receivers Redskins can win.

If the Ravens keep playing like they have recently, they won't even make the playoffs THIS YEAR!

Flacco got it done today. Very nice win. Indeed, they outscored them. A good win for them.

Fair enough kids. I left to go downtown and watch the Giants/Saints game (as a Giants fan). Sure enough, I was surprised as heck to see the Ravens choke it away. I saw the game losing kick for them.
Sadly, I forgot about my all important Perry Hall Patch post about the game, and as such only now I am regrettably posting about it.
Good thing the Giants spanked that ass tonight. Thats a team that seriously just needs to be talked negatively about every week. Every week they get counted out, that ass gets whooped. No matter who.

It's remarkable how terrible Balt's D has looked. I know they're depleted, but come on. Losing to Batch was awful and losing to the Skins isn't much better.
