Old Takoma Businesses Take to the Sidewalks
There will be two food truck locations Friday evening in Old Takoma.
Old Takoma Business Association will host a recycling art exhibit in the spring.

This weekend wil be hopping in Old Takoma. From food trucks to sidewalk sales, there will be something to do for everyone throughout the weekend.
Sept. 14
Food trucks will be serving meals in two locations in Old Takoma.
- Location 1: City Parking Lot next to TPSS Coop at 201 Ethan Allen Ave, Time: 5pm-8pm, Trucks: The Slider Barron and Pino's Auto Grille
- Location 2: Trohv at 232 Carroll St. NW, Time: 5pm-8pm, Trucks: Rolls on Rolls and DC Crepes
Sept. 15
- 9 a.m. to noon - Spin the Wheel of Deals at Capital City Cheesecake and The Still Point
- 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. - Face painting in front of Now and Then and S and A Beads
Blessed Coffee One Year Anniversary Event
- Ethiopian coffee ceremony, music and speaker, Senator Jamie Raskin. Location: Old Takoma Gazebo at Carroll and Westmoreland Ave., Time: 10:30am-12:30pm
