Flower Ave Green Street RFP:

The City of Takoma Park is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide professional services including design, preparation of plans and specifications, cost estimates and construction administration for the Flower Avenue Green Street Project. Contact Daryl Braithwaite at 301-891-7615 or darylb@takomagov.org, with any questions. Bids are due April 20.

Art Exhibits:

Harry Stone, a contractor and family man by day, has been presenting his art by night. H@ndymen is a series of paintings that portrays the tension of balancing contracting work, creative output, personal introspection and social commentary. The exhibit runs through May 10 in the Atrium Gallery of the Takoma Park Community Center.

Takoma Park Middle School:

The third marking period for Takoma Park Middle School ends this week. March 29 marks the last day before the last marking period of the year. Students will then be on spring break from April 2-9.
