Horace and Dickie's Coming to Takoma

Get ready for heaping plates of fried fish.

The smell of one of Washington, D.C.'s most iconic dishes will be wafting through the air in Takoma next week, according to a story in the Washington Post.

Horace and Dickie's, an H St. NE corridor mainstay since 1990 will be frying up it's famous fish sandwiches just over the District line at 6912 Fourth St. NW in the former Wing Supreme space.

Patch will certainly be giving the food at Horace and Dickie's a taste next week. Let us know what you think of the traditional D.C. fare.

MMMMmmmm! I'll be one of the first to try it out. Worked in a carry out with food like that in Buffalo NY while on summer break in college. Don't forget your favorite hot sauce!

I'm looking forward to it too! I've had food from their location on H St. NE and it's delicious.
