Daylight Savings Ends Sunday

Montgomery County businesses and residents will roll clocks back one hour Sunday. Montgomery County Fire and Rescue urges fire safety checks at the same time.

Daylight savings time ends this weekend as households and businesses around the area turn clocks back one hour at 2 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 6.

When Sunday rolls around you will have an extra hour in your day to use as you see fit. An extra hour of play, an extra hour of work or an extra hour of sleep; you name it, you’ve got the hour.

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue urges residents to use a part of that hour to check up on fire safety in homes by checking the batteries in smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors.
